GLASS BEADMAKING I

Nina “Sam” Hibler is returning to McAllen Stained Glass to teach Glass Beadmaking I. This fun class introduces the student to torch work fundamentals and the making of flameworked glass beads. Safety, studio-setup and beginning bead making techniques will be covered. Each student will make and take several beads including donut beads, cylinder beads, textured beads, round beads, and dichroic glass beads. Decorative techniques such as dots, stringer, and frit will also be introduced. All tools and materials will be provided. Lunch is included. Space limited to 6.
