GLASS BEADMAKING I

Once again Nina “Sam” Hibler will visit McAllen Stained Glass to teach Glass Beadmaking I. This fun class introduces the student to torch work fundamentals and the making of glass beads with a torch. Safety, studio-set up and beginning bead making techniques will be covered. Each student will make and take several beads including donut beads, cylinder beads, textured beads, round beads and dichroic glass beads. Decorative techniques such as dots, stringer and frit will also be introduced. All tools and materials will be provided.
