FUSING 101

Learn the essential techniques for making fused glass jewelry and accessories. This class will walk you step-by-step and provide you with the necessary information needed to fuse glass. Kilns, kiln preparation, glass compatibility, and firing schedules will be discussed. Students will then be guided in creating several fused glass cabochons and fire them in a “quickfire” kiln. Lastly, each student will prepare a small panel that will be fired and picked up later. Prior glass cutting experience is helpful but not required. Class duration, 4 hours. Class fee, $125. 16+ yrs, old. Advance registration required. Space limited.
