Learn the basic steps and techniques needed to cut stained glass. A demonstration of various cutting tools will be presented.  This class is a prerequisite for some fusing workshops.

#101 Beginning Stained Glass

Learn all the steps required to complete a flat stained glass panel using the copper foil method.  This class will guide you through each step, from drawing your design, to cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering and framing your glass panel.

• Pre-requisite: None
• Class duration: Eight – Ten *2-hour, weekly sessions

#400 Glass Fusing Class

Learn the essential techniques for making fused glass jewelry and accessories. This class will walk you step-by-step and provide you with the necessary information needed to fuse glass. Kilns, kiln preparation, glass compatibility and firing schedules will be discussed. Students will then be guided in creating several fused glass cabochons and fire them in a “quick fire” kiln. Lastly, each student will prepare a set of tiles/coasters that will be fired and picked up at a later date.

• Glass cutting experience is not required
